When we invest in young people, we are investing in the future. But youth provisions across London have been chronically underfunded, and urban ‘regeneration’ projects have made the landscape increasingly inhospitable to non-profit community organisations. Against the odds, community champions like Ian work with what’s available, to provide opportunities to the young people in their community. Iain’s boxing club Peckham A. B. C. gives young people the space to be themselves, to build relationships, and to learn disciplines that will go on to serve them in everyday life.
